Bacon Social House
Bacon Social House is a large modern eatery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner located in the vibrant Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. A two-floor design and full patio seating can accommodate over 150 hungry and thirsty customers.
The design requirements were to create a comfortable and friendly feeling restaurant, with flexible capabilities. To have a simple system that would be largely automated, but also offer the ability for the managers to flip the space for events and easily control the day-to-day operations through the intuitive Savant system.
Hi Definition Day/Night cameras form ICRealtime provide the comfort and security needed after last call and before the rooster crows. Elura Outdoor speakers and Pakedge WiFi coverage make the patio just as an enjoyable and connected space as the interior where patrons can enjoy some of Denver’s 300 days of sunshine.
The Mid Century modern vibe of this large restaurant is inviting at all hours. The size and multiple hard surfaces made it a particular challenge for sound, from patrons enjoying themselves and from the music being played. This was solved by using the downfiring speaker technology in the Jamo speakers. Their globe shape provides 280 degrees of coverage from above while also fitting the theme of the restaurant in the style of spherical italian speakers the mid-mod era.
The Samsung TV’s and Jamo speakers were all designed into the various steel architectural pieces to provide that extra custom touch that both the designers and owners sought.
The upper mezzanine level provides extra seating, but can also be transformed into a private dining space. The Savant control system can spilt the audio on this level from whats playing below while the AppleTV provides Airplay capability on the Samsung TV for a client to display presentations or slideshows while renting out the space for their event. The restaurant is also currently using this feature for movie nights and game days.
