East Aspen Contemporary Residence

One of our favorite homes we’ve worked on recently.  An absolutely stunning build from design vision to end fit and finish and the owners’ perfect personal touches with art and furniture to finish it off.

This 3-story home is packed with well-placed technology.  A Control4 control system handles all the integration from Sonos Music through Sonance Speakers, Luma Cameras, Sony HDTV’s, Control 4 panelized lighting, Lutron Motorized Shades and fireplace, outdoor patio heater and spa controls.  Everything can be accessed through apps, remotes and touch panels throughout each space.
A downstairs media room with full Dolby Atmos surround sound features an 85″ Sony Bravia OLED TV with sound coming from Sonance in ceiling and Inwall speakers run through a robust 8k, Dolby Atmos Sony Receiver.

The Primary suite has an incredible view of aspen mountain through floor to ceiling windows.  The challenge? How do you watch a movie on a very snowy winter day, or wind down with your favorite show at night?  The solution: We designed a flush mount in ceiling Dragonfly motorized screen, paired with a Samsung Ultra-short throw projector to bring a 4k HD viewing experience to life at the touch of a button.  The film screen descends in sync with the Lutron black out shade to cover the windows and set the stage for the stunning HD video and immersive sound to take over the space.

Every room in this home boasts technology, but none of it is the focus.  Beautiful art and furnishings are highlighted by the lighting system and chosen fixtures.  Control4 allows for elegant scenes to wash the spaces in light and sound making the home come alive.

When these homeowners are away in their primary residence, the Control4 app and Luma cameras ensure that the home stays secure and our system monitoring through OVRC gives us a view of the system to make sure everything stays online and up to date for their next visit.
